All apps
Do your apps collect my data or my child's data?
No. Our apps have no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything stays on your device. Read the Privacy Policy.
Do I need the internet?
No. The apps work offline. You need the internet only to download the app, to share, or to send a tip.
What does a tip unlock?
Nothing. Tips are optional. They help us continue to build the apps. Apple processes the payment, and a grown-up is asked first.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
How do I move my data to a new device?
App data moves with an iCloud or computer backup of your device. Restore the backup on the new device. We do not keep a copy of your data, so we cannot restore it for you.
Multiply Stars
How do I change the times tables to practise?
On the Practice tab, tap "Change" next to the current set. Choose a range, for example 0 to 12, or choose one table.
How many stars does a question need?
5 stars by default. You can change this from 1 to 10 in Settings. A mastered question is not asked again.
How do I erase all progress?
Go to Settings → Data → Erase all data. This cannot be undone.
Puddle Paint
How do I open the grown-ups area?
Hold the lock button at the top of the tool column for 2 seconds. Sharing, settings, sounds and tips are in the grown-ups area.
Where are my child's pictures?
Tap the camera button to save the picture to the gallery. The app also saves the picture that is on the paper automatically. Open the gallery to see all saved pictures.
How do I save a picture to Photos?
Open the grown-ups area and share the picture. Choose "Save Image". iOS asks for permission to add photos. Puddle Paint only adds pictures and never reads your photos.
How do I turn the sounds down?
In the grown-ups area, use the "Sounds" switch, or the switch for each group of sounds.
Beat Buddies
Is Beat Buddies available now?
Not yet. Beat Buddies is in development. Email us if you want to know when it is available.
Does Beat Buddies use the microphone?
No. All sounds come with the app.
