About
A Canadian technology company.
Cantris Technologies Inc. is a Canadian corporation. We design and build software and hardware, starting with mobile apps for iPhone and iPad.
Our first apps came from our own families. A child needed to practise times tables. Another child wanted to paint and mix colours. Another child wanted to make music. We built each app for that child, tested it with them, and then made it available to other families.
We keep our apps small and focused. We do not show ads. Our apps for children do not collect personal information. When an app needs an online service in the future, we will explain clearly what data it uses and why, before you use it.
What we believe
Software should respect the people who use it.
Privacy first
We collect the minimum data that a product needs. For our apps for children, the minimum is nothing.
Honest design
No dark patterns, no pressure to buy, no endless feeds. An app should be easy to put down.
Accessible to all
We work to make every app usable with VoiceOver, larger text and reduced motion. Read our accessibility statement.
